Freedom Chiang Mai was started in 2022 when a team led by Sandor and Tashia van Laar moved from Cambodia to reach people in the city and connect them to a life changing relationship with Jesus.
We are a strong and growing community where anyone is welcome to join! You will have the opportunity to meet people, ask questions and explore what following Jesus is all about and grow your faith.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our church events are in Thai and English and we include worship, creativity and relevant teaching from the Bible that is equipping and challenging.
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
We love to welcome kids at our church and we have a separate area where they will enjoy engaging in fun and relevant activities. We recommend arriving a bit before the event starts to register your kids and help them to get settled.
FIRST TIME
When you join us you will receive a warm welcome, experience a passionate atmosphere and you will meet people excited to get to know you. We aim to help you feel at home at Freedom Church.
The heart of Freedom Church is to connect anyone, anywhere to a life changing relationship with Jesus. We do that in Chiang Mai through creating community and focusing on building our lives on the truth God shares with us in the Bible.
